They believe love at first sight brought them here. 

Since that first look on a beach 5 years ago in Barcelona, Spain. 

On the beach that day, Chris was thinking, ‘Why is this beautiful woman walking towards me?’ 

Once they began chatting, they hit it off instantly.

They decided to go on a date that same night, only for him to have to leave afterwards to catch his next flight. 

They said their goodbyes and thought they would never see each other again. 

But the connection remained during the trip. 

When they only had a week remaining of their trips in Greece, Chris changed his flights and flew back to spend his last week with her in Barcelona before coming back home to Australia. 

Chris knew that long distance relationships were crazy, but to him it seemed even crazier not to commit to her. 

Marcela also knew the struggle ahead, but everything happened so naturally that they realised that they simply needed to make it work. 

Chris said he knew that he would never find another woman like Marcela. 

These two were so in love and to be there to watch them start this next chapter in their lives together, after a lengthy long distance relationship really struck a chord in my heartstrings.
